The timeline gives us total data and actions tracking over the document, with automatically updated records, obsolete versions archive, access to editable versions, etc... All you need to reconstruct a life cycle of a document is available in the timeline.

This feature is very useful and important. Use it to obtain auditable information, detect some errors, or even check how users are managing the documents.

Follow the next steps to know how to check the history of a document:

1. Select the My Documents menu.

2. Search for your document using the search bar, at categories, use filters, or choose the workflow in which it is located, and open it.

3. On the document's page, select timeline at the sidebar menu.

4. At this point, you can read the timeline, editable versions, and document obsolete versions archive as well. For a more detailed history, go to Detailed information.

5. In this menu, you can see the entire detailed history of the document

TIP  Did you know that AGIR saves a PDF copy of each document's version and micro-version? If AGIR detects an edition, it will be saved in the timeline as a new PDF copy. This feature allows you to reconstruct all editions.

TIP  Did you know that AGIR saves an editable copy of the document in each revision cycle? If the revision number increase, a new editable version will be saved in the timeline. This feature allows you to reverse to an old version, in case you need it.
