There are 6 properties and metadata fields available to help you customise and control your workflows.
Let's analyse each one of them.
1. Title
Corresponds to a registry's name.
2. Code
The workflow is identified by a unique code, therefore this code cannot be shared by other workflows. AGIR will alert you if the code already exists, prompting you to correct the code. When creating a workflow in AGIR, a code will be suggested according to the workflow type. However, the code may be adjusted by an editor or task owner.
3. Edit Mode
The edit mode field lets you define which users can change the workflow properties, link properties, attachment properties, and notification properties…
Our team recommends sticking with the predefined default form when creating a registry on AGIR. With this mode, properties can only be edited by registry/workflow task owners or Administrators.
4. Site
This property attributes the registry to sites/departments, in case your company has some departments operating in different sites and such.
5. Require acknowledgement
By activating this property you can trigger a reading acknowledgement prompt to the user (who must confirm it). This way, acknowledging the workflow becomes mandatory when this property is activated.
For more information regarding acknowledgement, visit our tutorial: Workflows acknowledgement request.
6. Folders
This is the section where your folders are listed. Only the folders that you own, or for which you are a writer will be visible to you. In case you neither own/are a writer for any folders, this list will be empty. This property allows you to define in which folder(s) your documents will be published.
