Publication Date - What does it means and how to set it?

The publication date is the document's emission official date. According to your AGIR config, the publication date can be set by the editor/approver or automatically corresponding to the last workflow step date (example: Approval).

The Documents Properties - General Concepts tutorial explains all My Documents module properties and metadata.

To set a document's publication date manually, go to document properties and edit the Publication field (image below).

If you wish to synchronize the publication date with the last workflow status date, automatically, follow the steps below:

1. Click on the user name and click on Agir Config.

2. Select the Documents tab and then Advanced Settings. Check the box  Set publication date equal to last intervention (last workflow step) and Save it.

ATTENTION  This option has no retroactive effects and affects all AGIR documents. The publication date will correspond to the last workflow step execution date, on future revisions. However, after revision cycle ends, the publication date can be adjusted manually.

PERMISSIONS  Only AGIR Administrators can activate the Set publication date equals to last to last intervention (last workflow step) option. On document properties, to edit the publication date manually, you'll need Editor/Approver/Administrator permission.
