How to change document permissions defined by the default configurations?

AGIR has several options and modes that allow you to control access to the documents (list of subscribers). Tutorial Documents permissions - General concepts guides you through all options and will give ways to fine-tune document access.

However, you may sometimes need to override the default permission by removing specific accesses to some users.

Change of accesses defined by the default configurations

For each document, the user can eliminate the automatic accesses as follows.

1. Open the required document.

2. Click on subscribers on the sidebar menu.

3. Remove the accesses by clicking on the respective checkbox (per user or group).

4. After editing, click Save.

PERMISSIONS  Access editing requires the necessary permission. You can't remove access to a user with a higher access level (eg.: workflow reader can't remove access to a workflow administrator or AGIR administrator).

TIP  At this point, you can also add subscribers, but only as notified users (see tutorial Notification- Why is it helpful and how does it work?)

TIP  The number of users with access to the document is indicated in the blue icon (image below).
