Filtering by company - How does it work and how to enable it?

AGIR allows the creation of a site or company, which corresponds to physical and functional company facilities. Filtering by company can be a helpful feature depending on the company's structure and the number of AGIR's users.

This feature allows users to sort per site/company in several AGIR modules and group the different sites in a logical way.

For example: in the workflows' module, a normal AGIR user can only send tasks to another user from the same company or site if the filtering option is activated in that module. Using this option in the Document's module, a normal user can only notify other users from his company or site.

The filter is based around the Sites field in the user profile (image below). Remember that the same user can be associated with several companies.

To activate this option, follow the steps below:

1. Click on your user name and go to Agir Config.

2. Go to Advanced Settings and click on the Filter by site option.

3. Click on Filter by site.

4. An options list will appear. Select the Features and Modules that you wish to apply a filter to, or activate the filters for specific features according to your company's rules.

Once you're done, save your changes.
