New workflow dashboard - features and general concepts

The new workflows dashboard in AGIR has been completely revamped. With a more modern, intuitive, and organized design, the new interface offers a simplified experience that makes it easier to navigate through your processes. 


Now, it’s even easier to find what you’re looking for, with redesigned menus and features aimed at improving usability and efficiency in your day-to-day tasks.


In this article, we will explore the main changes and how you can make the most of this new dashboard view, enabling faster and more practical management of your workflows.

New Workflows Dashboard




Menu burger, notifications, and user menu


These menus have already been explained in the article New dashboard - General features and concepts, feel free to check it out to learn more about these new features in the header.


Search


When using the search function in the workflow module, AGIR will search within this module only, going through all records of all existing workflows.




Categories


Workflows can be organized into three categories:

  • New notifications: includes workflows that haven’t been opened yet.
  • Recent: includes the 100 most recent workflows.
  • All workflows: includes all workflows you have access to, regardless of type or flow.


 PERMISSIONS  The workflows that appear in each of the categories vary by user, depending on their permissions.

The workflow view has been simplified in the new dashboard. You can navigate between workflows, categories, and types of workflows/processes.

You can also search for a specific workflow, category, or type, depending on the selected tab.




Number of records per workflow


At the bottom of the page, you can access a chart showing the number of records per workflow.




Create a new workflow


If you have permission to start a workflow, you can do so by clicking the icon available within each workflow or in the bottom right corner of the page. 


 PERMISSIONS  the icon will only be available in workflows where the user has permissions for the first step.
