The new AGIR dashboard introduces a series of features and improvements that make process management more intuitive and efficient. With a refreshed design and optimized navigation, the dashboard provides a centralized view of workflows, allowing faster access to essential information and settings.
In this article, we will explore the general concepts and key features of this new dashboard, showing how it can simplify your daily tasks and enhance your AGIR experience.
Burger menu
No, it’s not a fast food menu, but it will greatly simplify your navigation in AGIR :)
This menu is always available on all AGIR pages, providing more practical and immediate navigation across all modules. The menu is always minimized, so it only appears when needed.
Notifications
AGIR notifications are designed to alert users to new tasks, pending tasks, and new documents.
AGIR offers the following notifications:
New tasks
A list of the user's tasks that have not been viewed yet.
Pending tasks
A list of tasks that are pending or overdue.
New documents
Documents uploaded to AGIR that have not been viewed by the user. Clicking on the notification will take you directly to the document module in the new documents category.
Global search
This allows you to perform a comprehensive search throughout AGIR. You can search for data in document properties, workflow information, attachments, and more, helping you quickly find what you’re looking for.
My notes
In the top-right corner, you can access the Notes Module with just one click.
Settings
Previously called "AGIR Config," this blue cogwheel provides access to AGIR’s settings panel. This section is only visible to administrators.
Help
The help button provides four sections that can be very useful. Let's go over each one:
Help
This option directs you to the notices/articles created in AGIR. This section is entirely managed by AGIR administrators, who can add articles they deem helpful for users to consult when necessary.
Learning Center
Clicking this will take you to our Learning Center/Knowledge Base, where you can access dozens of detailed articles about AGIR. It is extremely useful for users who have questions about specific features, helping them quickly find answers.
Additionally, in this area, you will also find our Helpdesk Portal, where authorized users can submit tickets directly to our support team.
Privacy Policy
Access our Privacy Policy to learn in detail how we handle and protect your data. This section provides a comprehensive view of the types of information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights as an AGIR user. We guarantee full transparency and strict compliance with current data protection laws.
About AGIR
Clicking "About AGIR" will give users detailed information about the application, including the current software version and the date of the last update. This section also includes links to official websites where users can explore more about the features and solutions AGIR offers.
User menu
In the user menu, you'll find several options. Here’s a breakdown of each:
My profile
Access your profile, where you can change or update your personal data and see what data is shared within AGIR. If you are an AGIR administrator or a People Manager, you can manage your permissions or clone users.
Change password
Click here to reset your password. See this article for more details.
Achievements
Access this section to check your achievements and the trophies you've earned.
Translator
AGIR supports several dictionaries and also offers a tool that allows administrators to improve these translations or create new dictionaries. To learn more about translating AGIR, click here.
AGIR server
This is where you can set up automated tasks for AGIR, such as cleaning up or deleting archived records or documents, sending emails, compressing PDF attachments, and more.
Customize dashboard
Although this option is still under development in this version of the dashboard, it’s possible to customize the dashboard in the legacy dashboard. See how here.
Settings
As mentioned earlier in this article, this is where you can access AGIR settings.
Lock
Lock your session if you step away from your computer.
Log out
End your AGIR session.
You can also access your profile directly by clicking on your profile picture.
PERMISSIONS The user menu may vary for each user depending on their permissions.
Modules
The colored cards represent each AGIR module. There are six modules:
To create a new task, workflow, document, or collaborator, simply click on the icon for each module.
Favorites
The favorites area is extremely useful for quick access to important workflows and documents, facilitating a practical and efficient way to consult these essential records. See this tutorial to learn how to add favorites to the dashboard.
Note: The Customize Dashboard feature is not yet active in the new dashboard, so adding shortcuts to favorites must be done in the legacy dashboard. However, these shortcuts will still appear in the new dashboard as shown in the image above.
Workflows view in the dashboard
The workflow view in the new dashboard has been revamped, providing more intuitive and simplified navigation between workflows and document folders, making management even more efficient and accessible.
To change how workflows are displayed, simply click the list/grid button to toggle between these three views.
If you prefer one of these views and want to set it as default, follow this tutorial.
Switch between views
You can switch between views directly in the dashboard by clicking the icon shown below:
Grid view
Treeview
Categories
TIP You can change the default workflow view on your dashboard. Learn how in this article: Set the default workflow view: grid, list, or categories.
Document folders
In the new dashboard, you can also view document folders and easily toggle between the workflow and document views by clicking the corresponding tab.
Document folders are an excellent way to organize and share your organization's documents with the right users. To learn how to create folders and set permissions, see this article: Documents folders - How to create and set permissions.
When a user clicks to view document folders, they will only see the folders they have access to as a reader or administrator.
The blue number represents the number of documents inside the folder. The icon next to the number means you have administrator permissions for this folder, allowing you to add or remove documents.
PERMISSIONS User permissions in AGIR may alter the dashboard view, depending on the records and documents the user has access to.
