How to correct a document's PDF file

You can manually replace your document's PDF copy (generated by AGIR for viewing purposes) by accessing the document's properties, in case you need to correct it.

This process does not change either your original document or its properties. It simply replaces the PDF file used by AGIR for viewing purposes.

This can be useful for fixing PDF copies that suffered from an isolated PDF conversion failure or simply for defining a specific area in the document for printing. Example: printing the 2nd sheet of an Excel file that contains several other sheets.

TIP  If you're working with Office documents (example: Microsoft Office Word), we recommend our Agir Office add-in, which assures a higher degree of reliability in PDF conversions.
In case you find an error in the PDF copy conversion, especially in schematics, tables and pictures, it might be due to the fact that the document was created or edited by someone that did not use the Agir Office add-in. In that case we suggest installing it by following this article: How to install AGIR Office?
We also recommend reading this article on How to edit documents with AGIR Office.

Replacing the PDF file/copy

1. Open the document's main page and click on Properties.

2. Next, click on Click here to insert PDF. Then, select a PDF file created by your PDF conversion tool (external to AGIR) and click on Open (this will vary according to your operating system's language).

Once you're done, this new PDF file will replace the old one.

PERMISSIONS  To perform all of this, you must have editor/ task owner permissions for the given document.
