Workflow acknowledgment request

The "Reading acknowledgement request" feature allows employees to formalize their acknowledgement. Typically, this is used for documents but can also be used for workflow.

This property is associated with the registry. It is possible to both activate or deactivate it by default for every single workflow entry using the workflow's configuration options.

If this property is active, acknowledgement becomes mandatory. This property is applied to administrators, task owners and users who have reading permission.

To learn how you can activate this feature, follow the next steps:

1. Click on the registry's Properties.

2. Select Require acknowledgement and Save this change.

3. Registry acknowledgement becomes mandatory after you activate this property. The user will be asked to acknowledge this registry, until the user confirms said acknowledgement.

TIP  The phrase that is shown to users can be customised in AGIR Config. To do so, follow the instructions that will be presented further below.

4. To consult the reading log, click on Subscribers and then Reading Log.

The logs are displayed this way, showing which users have already read and/or acknowledged the registry.

Pay attention to the following image so you can understand what each colour and symbol means.

How to customise the acknowledgement sentence

1. Open AGIR Config.

2. Select the Workflows tab and click on Workflows.

3. Select the desired workflow. Check the Require Acknowledgement option and write the phrase you want to appear to the user. Click on Save once you're done.

PERMISSIONS  To consult the reading log list, you need to have workflow access permission. To activate the registry's confirmation request, you'll need Editor/Administrator permission. To customise the acknowledgement phrase,  Administrator's permission is required.
