Adding options or items to a dropdown combo box in AGIR can be helpful and necessary in order to adapt the workflow to the organization and its processes.
Follow the instructions below to know how to change/add/delete dropdown items:
1. Open a registry from the workflow with the dropdown you wish to edit. Then click on your user name and go to Designer.
2. Unlock Form Editing.
3. Right-click on the dropdown you wish to alter and click Properties.
4. You will find below the dropdown items. Press the + to add a new item (value is filled automatically after writing the item/option). You can delete any items just by clicking on the x on the right side of each item.
After doing all changes, click OK.
5. Save the Form.
6. Justify or describe your changes and click Save.
7. The new items/options were added to the dropdown :)
8. To confirm all changes done to the Workflow, click on Publish Dev Version, in order to publish these changes.
TIP Some dropdowns have the option to add directly an item (like the one we used as an example in this article). However, to delete or edit items, it's necessary to execute all the steps consulted in this article.
PERMISSIONS Only Administrators will be able to perform changes on the forms, incluiding editing dropdown combos.
