Comments in workflows it's one of the best ways to communicate with other colleagues about the record/workflow you're working on.
Any user with access to the record can write comments (even if it has only reader permissions).
NOTE All comments are public, which means all readers or owners of the can read its comments.
Administrators can delete all comments. Every user can delete his own comments. Nevertheless, any deleted comments stay registered on the timeline.
ATTENTION All comments are public, so don't share private information in the comments section. New comments don't trigger any emails or alerts.
PERMISSIONS You can create or access the comments in a registry by just having reader permissions. Only administrators can delete comments from other colleagues.
