AGIR allows us to import workflows in bulk, turning it into a quicker and more efficient process.
Below you can find all necessary steps for importing several registries to AGIR.
For starters, we'll be downloading the template that'll allow us to import workflows onto AGIR. Click on your user name, then click on the following: Agir Config > Workflows > Template.
A template (in Excel format) will be transferred to your computer with the name workflows_to_be_imported.
ATTENTION Do not change this Excel file's name.
As you open the template, you will notice several columns which correspond to the workflow's form data and fields.
Fill in the data as intended. Keep in mind that all the options and fields required by your workflow must be filled in.
TIP Although every form is different, customizing your template and creating fields that correspond to the ones in your form is possible. You'll find more instructions further below.
By filling in these columns, you're essentially filling in the form as well. Compare the images above and below. They correspond to the same fields.
How can you customize your fields and adapt them to your own form? It's easy! Follow the steps below:
1. Click on your username and then on Designer. You'll need to do this in order to see what's the ID of the field you intend to fill in.
2. Unlock form editing by clicking on the padlock icon. Then, using your right mouse button, click on the field you wish to fill in and click on Properties.
3. In this case the field's ID is AuditStatus.
4. Now we'll create an extra column on our Excel template and name it field_AuditStatus (field_ + ID). Then we'll fill it in according to the original form (in this case we'll use one of the options available in AuditStatus' combo box).
You may do this with any other fields in your form, and thus fill in your registries in a practical manner.
Let's import!
TIP Be sure to save any changes to this Excel file and close it before proceeding further.
1. Once you're done filling in all of the data for the form, click on your user name and follow this path: Agir Config > Workflows > Create workflows in bulk.
2. Pick your Excel file (template) and click Open.
Assuming all data is correctly filled in, no errors will be found, and importing will be successful! In case there are any errors, you'll have to review the template (Excel file) and pinpoint whether the fields were incorrectly filled in, or if they were filled in with data options that do not exist in the form.
Here are our registries, created in AGIR.
Here we have all the filled in data from the Excel, in the form.
