The User Clone feature allows you to copy permissions from one user to another. It's particularly helpful for permission management processes, especially when a new user is currently being integrated, or when a user takes the position of another.
Permission cloning can be carried out successively. As an example, user C can have all permissions from users A and B by cloning said users' permissions onto user C. As such, user C's permissions will consist of the sum of permissions from user A and user B.
To learn how to use this feature, follow the steps below:
1. Go to the Staff Module.
2. Select the desired user who will receive the cloned permissions and then click on the User cloning tab.
3. Set the user from whom you want to copy the permissions.
4. The cloned user permissions will be listed on the Documents and Workflows Modules and global permissions. AGIR compares both users' permissions and will attribute the missing ones to the end user.
Select the permissions that you intend to give to the user and then click on Activate.
Select the All config permissions option if you wish to copy all permissions from the original user.
NOTE This feature clones only the current permissions (the permissions assigned at the moment). The users' permissions are independent of each other, so if in the future any of them are changed on either user, it won't affect others' permissions.
